The sun has officially got his hat out, I've swiped a few daffodils to put in a vase, and our rhubarb plant has sprung, witch only means one thing. Spring is here! Huray! I'm not one for season beauty trends and all, but I've been bit by the orange lips bug, and I've gone a little bit crazy! I've owned just about every colour of lipstick, beside orange. How is that even possible? I hear you say. Well, I've never thought of orange as a lipstick colour. Like, what would i wear it with? Will I suit it? What if a whale suffocates me? All that kind of jazz; but I took one for the team of I and went for it.
As with every colour, there is just about ten thousand shades of it, witch can be a little overwhelming, but i managed to get it down to a nitty gritty foursome.
Not sure how to wear an orange lip? Simple. The same way you wear a red lip. No one makes the rules of orange lips, so go wild! A dewy base, coral cheeks and a simple winged eye liner, and jobs a good'in.
My pick of the orange lips has to be these Revlon colour balms. Followed closely by an incredible lipstick from NYX. And lastly, it may come as a surprise, but this beautiful ELF lipstick.
