As much as I've constantly stated I cannot stand lipgloss; There comes a time in every girls life, when you have just have to grab life by the balls, and buy a darn lipgloss! So in my 19 years of consuming oxygen that probably could have went to a way better source, about 15 years of that has been lipgloss free. What happened to the other 4 years I hear you ask? My nine year old self was about to become Kate Moss, so after watering my hair down to my scalp, lipgloss was an absolute must, and consumed a lot of my time via staring at myself in the mirror, thinking how Britney Spears I look. So 10 years later, and I've purchased my one and only lipgloss. I don't know why, or how I even got to this point in my life, but I for sure think YOLO has something to do with it. The reason for the lack of lipgloss loving, they're the most irritating things to keep on the lips; so slimey and sticky, and as about-to-be-married-to-prince-Harry, I do not want that kind of reputation. Plus I really hate shiny things. So after a quick impulsive stop at Boots, I came out as a new woman; and with a new bra size. I hate when that happens. I actually picked up the colour Glorious Grapefruit. I don't know what colour grapefruit is, but according to my Neautrogena face wash, it's pink. I don't even like pink lips. As with any lipgloss, application through a spunge on the end of the wand. So simple, yet very effective; Like who knew it could be that easy to apply lipgloss? The colour it's self is very much a pink coral, and as I'm obsessed with coral lips, leaning towards pink lips this is the perfect start.
Whenever I've had lipgloss' in the past they always seem to have glitter particles in the formular, witch I personally cannot stand, as much as I'm an actual real life Disney princess - It's just far too childish! Also going back to my hatred for the sticky, on the lips this does not stick what so ever. I could apply quotes of this stuff, and it will not get sticky! It's 2014 any ways; who likes sticky lipgloss? No one. On my lips it last for a good three hours, but only because I have an awful nervous habit of rubbing my lips together, and touching them all up, other wise, I reckon it colour last a lot longer on other lips. The colour and formula is so easy to work with you can just smack it on, on an everday basis without any effort at all. How great is that?
Maybe this will be start of my Lipgloss love, or just the end.. Who knows? Either way I can hand on heart say I'm a changed woman because of this product! If you have any other lipgloss recomendations, feel free to let me know!
