Woah, hold on sister! You thought this was a beauty blog, where all I talk about is lipsticks, hairspray and eyebrows? Well, it's that time where I tell you I'm so comfortable around you, I'm willing to open up a little bit more about my glands. Sweat glands. We all have them, we've always had them, and we always do, so lets share our favourites for under the glands. I'll go first!
So I'm walking in Sainsburry's on this relatively boiling Tuesday afternoon, sweating like Rupert Murdoch in court, and as if by magic, the room goes black, and there's this one spotlight, as I walk towards it, I hear angels sing, the room gets smaller, and I think to myself 'Girl, you gotta do something about your armpits' so of course I listen to my inerself, and I pick up a roll on, look around and pay.. One whole mother effing pound for the Nivea Pure Invisible. Would you believe that? I know, I had heart populations myself.
Okay, so I know I may have made that first bit up, Sainsburry's would most likely get sued if they shut of all the lights, and this may be a slightly awkward post, but I do have good reason!
There was a time when I never use to sweat, but once I was made to run, then I developed the dreaded sweat glands, and mild trauma, and since then my whole world has changed. For one, I've never ran since, and secondly I do have to listen to my body when it's screaming out to be nurtured.
For quite a while I've used the Dove deodorant, not because it's a pick of choice, just because I thought I knew what I was doing, and I was doing it right. But I really got sick of feeling like it wasn't doing anything, leaving marks on my clothes, and gathering into little bits under my arms. Plus It's reminds me of the darkest time in my life; P.E! Like who wants to actually leand people their deodorant? I really don't!
Let talk about how it's in a glass bottle. Fancy? Yes. Practical? No. Heavy? Very. Hurts when you drop it on your foot? Extremely. Now that's covered let's get down to the nitty gritty.
As clearly show in Diagram A, above (just kidding, I've been watching far too much crime documentaries) the liquid is clear. Most roll on's are a slight of white, pearl colour, witch is why they leave marks, but with this, when Nivea tells you it's invisible, they ain't messin' about. And ask for the texture; Very important part, it's very much a cool liquid, so when you're hitting up the gym, or like me; Sweating from walking up the stairs, application with this is what I live for! The scent is very floral, however very discreet, to the point where I'm fine with it, and the smell of flowers knock me sick. And another thing I find with scented deodorants is the scent can kind of mess with your natural scent and I find it smells a little bit odd.
So if you're looking for a deodorant, witch I'm sure everyone is, come one, it's needed, I pray you pick this one up!
Love Meg xxx
