Top cream bronzers for the summer

I don't know about you, but apart from never feeling 22, bronzers in the summer is like a purple lip in the winter. So, so, so important. And what better than bronzers for the summer, than cream bronzers for the summer, right? Right! Now cream bronzers is a relatively new concept, I've only really seen them kicking about two years ago, seeing Fleur DeForce talk endlessly of the Chanel Bronze Universal, I felt the need to pop it on my Christmas list, and that's how it all started for me.
Witch leaves me to the first of my top three; The Chanel Bronze Universal. Everyone and their mother has spoken about this product, and it really has such mixed reviews. It's a kinda 'Marmite' product; You love it or hate it. I've never tried Marmite, so I'm still on the fence, but I have reached a verdict with this. It's a very hard texture, however very creamy. Though if I've not used it fora while it forms a dry layer on the top, witch really annoys me, but hey! Nothing a bit of love can't fix. I'm going to put this out there; The general review of this is that it's very orange, and pale people should stay away. Girl, everyone knows I'm pale, but I think for me it's finding the right brush that picks up enough product, but sheers it out on the skin, for that I use the Real Techniques Expert face brush. On the skin the consistency is very light, it doesn't go shiny like other cream products, and it stays like a Kardashian to a rich rapper, so yeah, that's pretty impressive. Also if you're finding this does show up slightly orange on you, add a tiny bit of foundation to muturalise the colour, this will also add a bit more pigment, and make it more bendable. Perfect for summer? Check!
Secondly, a drugstore one for all you drugstore girls. The drugstore haven't really hit the town with many cream bronzers, so I was actually pretty surprised that Boujois was one of the first. Behold the Bourjois bronzing primer. A primer? Yes! I don't know how or why it's a primer, but apparently the French think it is. I guess you could use it as a primer, under your foundation, to give the skin a bit of colour and glow, or over the top, and go in with a powder bronzer, I guess that colour maybe help the longevity of the powder, but for me, I'm all for using it as a cream bronzer. First off, I have to tell you about the smell! Literally the most summer smell there ever was! It smells like tropics, and holidays, and everything good about life! I wonder if Ryan Gosling smells like this? Okay, so the bronzing primer it's self is more of a mouse texture, a lot softer and more dense than the Chanel, witch personally, I'm in two minds about; It's easier to blend, but also you can put a bit too much, witch trust me Sister, that ain't no good look! This like the Chanel possibly can look a little orange on particular skin tones, but applying it well with help conquer that! I find it usually best to apply it with my fingers or my Real Techniques Multi-task brush.
Last but for sure not least, the Kevin Aucion Creamy Glow. This is pretty much a two in one product; a cream contour on one side of the pallet, and a cream highlighter on the other. The thing that disappoints me imesnly about this product is that I prefer the bronzer, but there is more highlighter... Que crying face emoji. However, moving on from that, the actual bronzer it's self has to be my all time favourite cream bronzer. The product is super creamy, very bendable, in no shape or form orange tone, and sits so smoothly on top of this skin. If you're looking fora bronzer to give you a dewy, healthy glow, this is it! Everything about the actual product floats my boat. I cannot get enough of this! The application of this can be so simple, you could use your fingers, and you're done! Simple as that. However I'm a little more technical, and I do love to use the E.L.F small stippling brush to apply the product on my face, and blend.
That's my top three cream bronzers, I am on the hunt to try out a few more, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Love Meg xxx
