So sometimes in life, there's a calm after the storm, a stop after the ride, a skincare so affordable you almost can't believe your eyes! Then in comes the negative doubt of weather or not this shit actually works! We'll threat not, you have my word on this one, I'm the biggest mother effing simple skincare user out there, and I swear by this brand like no other! So I've put together my top picks that I use on an every day basis.
First up is the Simple kind to eyes, eye makeup remover. This is basically a cream eye makeup remover. I'm not one for repurchasing as I like to try out other things, dip my feet into cold water and all that jazz, but I've actually repurchased this three times. Three times, making it into the record books of most repurchased item! This is a milestone and a half! I've used a lot of make up removers in my time, and I've found that I really prefer cream makeup removers. I can't use water based, as it's too harsh on the skin around my eyes and I find myself having to scrub, and girl; it hurts! Oil base makeup removers leave too much of a greasy residue around my eyes, witch I cannot stand! So therefor, I've not really got a choice in the matter when it comes to eye makeup removers. The skin around your eyes is super sensitive, and you really don't want to damage it, as Simple is very gentle, no harsh force is used to remove the make up. What I like to do is put a little bit on a cotton pad, place it over the eye for about twenty seconds, then wipe around the eye, and bobs your uncle, a painless, makeup-free eye.
I love a good deep cleanse as much as the next person, but before I go any where near that, I like to use a cleansing lotion to remove the bulk of my makeup, witch brings me to the Simple clarifying cleansing lotion. This the softest, nicest, most gentle cleansing lotion I've ever used, I even prefer it to using Bioderma! All I do with this is whack it on my face, massage it in, and wipe away with a cotton pad, easy as pie! It just leaves your face feeling super fresh, free, and slightly more hydrated!
The last two on my list are the Simple moisturisers. Both light and rich moisturisers. Sometimes when you've had no sleep, your tiered, and your skin really isn't working for you, I seriously suggest you get yourself the Simple rich moisturiser. It just hydrates the skin a good'in, making it a lot more plumped, hydrated and more alive. And the best thing? It settles into the skin very quickly, so you don't have to wait around for ages before slapping on your make up! If you're feeling as normal as Norma, it's a fairly okay day, or you're quite oily, reach for the light moisturiser. It is what it says it is, it's so light and refreshing on the skin, but still giving it that hydration the skin really needs. And it's perfect for Sumer! What more could you want?
So that's my top picks fro the Simple skincare brand, for me, it's a massive 10/10!
