This year L'oreal Paris have been right up there with their new releases, especially for the Magique line; Slowly but surely I've been dabbling into it product by product. I wanted to give each product a good try before I gave my verdict, as I do tend to change my mine a lot on products, so I've given this product a fair few months of trying.
At first I thought it was a primer witch was the ultimate reason why I picked this up, but it couldn't be more far off. I mean it doesn't make my base go anywhere, but it doesn't help it stay either, witch is fine because it's not the selling point, or even the point of the product. Its suppose to be a barrier between your moisturiser and your foundation to create a 'flawless complexion'.
All though for a very long while I used this every day, it's not something worth raving about to be honest. Yes it did make my foundation application so much more easier, to the point where it would glide on, and it does make your foundation look super dewy and lovely on the skin, but for me the colour it added to my foundation completely ruined it! I know I'm super pale, and 75% of products don't match my skin tone, but for a product to claim to be translucent, and completely darken my foundation, it really let me down.
All though the pros outweigh the cons, I will most likely get through the product, but for me, it's not for the repurchasing.
Love Meg xxx
