Why do you wear makeup | Tag

1. When did you begin wearing makeup?
I've always been around makeup, as my Mother was quite fond of makeup, and I lived with an older girl and shared bedrooms with her growing up, and she wore makeup. I also had quite the collection from my S Club 7 magazine! (Anyone remember those? My favourite was the roll on glitter!) But the first time I wore make up was in year 6; I was about 11, and we were on a school trip to Paris for a week, and one night we had a disco, so my best friend at the time Jade decided to put eye liner on me, and ever since then really! When I got back, my Parents didn't think eye liner was the best idea at 11 years old, witch I was gutted about as all the girls in my class wore eye liner; But a good amount of mascara really did it for me! Then as I got to high school I started wearing more and more. Being the evidently colour-blinded, naive, couldn't apply make up girl I was, I was orange faced, bright pink eye shadow, and a whack load of eye liner. It wasn't until I was in year 11, when I was 16 I started to wear it properly, and even bought my very first high end products by Daniel Sandler.

2. How do I feel without makeup?
Usually around family I don't mind, as when I'm bare faced I look like one of them; But it did take me a while to actually be okay with not wearing make up around other people. I have naturally blonde eye brows, so they're like invisible, and I hate it so much! I look like one of those images of celebrities without eye brows. So yes, in public, and around other I do feel really insecure without make up, but with my skin clearing up a lot recently, I'm really starting to feel okay with it.

 3. What do I like about makeup?
Well at first i really liked makeup because it was 'cool', and everyone else was wearing it. But when I got older I really appreciated how much confidence it gave me; by covering up any problems on my face, giving me eye brows. But I also love applying it! Sitting in front of the mirror applying it is always my favourite part, to myself or someone else. I have a really addictive personality, so I become addicted to things easily, especially when I'm stressed, so to take my mind of things I started to learn about make up, and how to apply it; I then started to learn about ingredience, colour and types of skin for make up, and it was kind of a distraction for me.

4. My 3 Holy Grail items
Maybelline brow Drama. As I said I have really light eye brows and this just give them a little tint.
Liz Earl Signature Foundation. My all time favourite foundation - I couldn#t be without
Origins Plantscription concealer. My favourite under eye concealer, theres nothing this product can't cover!
