Lately I've been so lazy when it comes to make-up, opting for the laziest routine I possibly can do, and still look half decent. I've seen Essie Button talk about the Clinique Chubby sticks for quite a while, so I thought it was about time I saw what all the fuss was about. I've picked up the shade 09 Lavish Lilac, as she wore this is one of her videos, and it looked so incredible on her, plus I have a thing right now for light pink/purple washes on the eyes.
Basically if you didn't know, the chubby stick is a cream eye shadow in stick form, that you can just swipe over your eye lids, blend in with your fingers, and done. Literally takes two seconds witch is absolutely perfect as it's coming into winter, I don't want to be sacrificing time in bed for eye-shadow application, so I want something that's super quick, and super easy. The application is so smooth, it glides on to the eyes, and you're done. However, if you do want to build up colour pigment as they are semi-sheer, you can apply, wait a few seconds then reapply so you get that pigment build up. They do tend to last on the eyes all day, however they do end up creasing a little bit, witch generally all eye make up does at the end of the day, but to stop that, I like to set it with a transparent powder, or if I'm feeling super optimistic, an eye shadow as this makes an incredible smooth base.
The price is pprobablythe least appealing thing of the product; £17, but if you're looking to build up your Boots advantage card points, Clinique are currently doing two products for £5 worth of points.
