There's nothing I love more than a good clean smelling candle, especially when its in a tin. Yes who their right mind wouldn't love a candle in tin packaging! It's the ultimate selling point for a simple minded so and so like myself. So when I heard one of my all time favourite blogger and youtuber Zoe Sugg was releasing her new bath range, and it included a candle, I couldn't contain myself. I must admit I'm not a huge bath/pamper product lover, I do prefer my standard shower gel and a good hair wash. However I am a sucker for candles, so I picked up let's glow from the range currently being stocked in Superdrug. As I've mentioned it's a tin candle, witch is a lot more convenient than a glass candle, as for one I'm so clumsy and literally drop everything I come into contact with, and two, in the past when I've used glass candles they've always gotten too hot and glass has cracked open, witch by anyone's standards, isn't all that uuseful However I love the design of the packaging too, it's very clean, and simple. The orange and white go so well with every room in my flat, and also the writing isn't cluttered and there isn't too much going on, witch is a massive bonus.
I will be the first to admit I'm not the best at describing smells, especially when I categorise everything as either 'lush' or 'shit'. And I've put this in the lush pile, as it is.. Lush! The smell kind of reminds me of when I was younger and after I was unfortunately dragged into the bath by my parents, and coming out smelling super clean and fresh for school the next morning, I would sit with my Mother watching the soaps with damp hair and a cup of tea. The simple days. It's very spa-like; I'm not saying that because I go to many spas, but that's what the word on the street is, I couldn't tell you how long the actual candle burns for, as I've not gotten to that stage yet, as I've been hoarding every little bit of it.
So if you're wondering where to start with the Zoella beauty range, definitely pick up a candle, also Christmas is coming up soon, and it would make a perfect gift!
Love Meg xxx
